CAN YOU HELP ME MAKE A BETTER GUESTBOOK?
Most Guestbooks focus on the host. Although it is not forbidden to show me your appreciation, I would rather this page be about you. Part of the reason I blog is that I hope my posts can make a difference for someone out there. I also want this Guestbook to make a difference. But you are its author, not me. Please add a thought to what I’ve written. Or just tell your story, especially that faith promoting experience you’ve been longing to share.
Write you comments in the REPLY box. Thanks!

Great site Louis. I came in by watching the photo-pictures. The slide shows are simply amazing. Lot’s of interersting information.
You have a great family and your work is your life - I will do a lot of searching myself before I can make such good pictures
Information about our church is only waiting - that’s how it should be.
Finding my country Poland in the info about teh LDS educational system made me feel proud.
I honestly think that this site is made ‘for the people’ with a heart.
I hope yoy will come soon to Poland again.
Love & best regards to you and your family, Wojtek

I have to make another comment.
To All you people out there viewing this page:
This guy will see you once & make yor dresma come true.
I’ve never ever been published on the web before………… WOW!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you.
What a shock when I first saw it. It’s like seeing my face in Liahona.
This picture was really well. I’ve learned that at first things look different from with your own eyes but it doesn’t mean that they are bad.

Hi Louis!
Thank you so much for this wonderful site. It is helping me a lot.
It is nice to find a place where you can find spiritual topics.

I just want to thank you SO MUCH for starting this blog. I´m a christian but I don´t belong to LDS, having tried to understand more about it, though, but have missed the “deeper”, “inside” perspective that I have found here (not just if you drink coffee or not but how someone in LDS lives and feels about it). It saddened me to hear that christians are harsh against you, but I want to say that I also know many christians from different churches that have great love and respect for LDS, as sisters and brothers in Christ (…in faith).

Hi Louis,
Thanks very much for referring me to your web site. Though I did not realize it when you mentioned it to me in Gothenburg, I think I did briefly visit it once before when an acquaintance provided me with a link to it. The site is quite extensive, and full of information. I’ve already had a quick look around and like what I see. There are some spectacular photos, and I’ve enjoyed reading some of your blog entries. However, I do wonder how you find the time to maintain such a site - in between your family life, day-time job, performances, photographic hobby etc. All I can say is - you must be an exceptionally well-organized person!
Kind regards,
Jan Burnett-McKeown

Thanks Anna, I truly appreciate your words and your kindness! God bless you! Louis
Jan, I also thank you so kindly! Although I seemed to have fooled you
I am not an exceptionally well-organized person - at least I don’t see myself that way. I just live by one rule: taking one day at the time. This site is a result of doing a little here and a little there, for many months now. Also, whenever I do something here I mostly make use of the late hours of the day (since I am a night owl), like right now for example.
I hope you have enjoyed your trip. Best regards, Louis

My dear friend Louis.
I like visiting your site from time to time and get some reflections, which I get not only from your words, but mostly from your pictures. Pictures use a language of their own which one must learn to fully understand. Some of your pictures speak plain and simple words, while others go deeper. Alas, just as with symbolism, pictures work on different levals, extracted from the first visual imprint, to our own personal experiences and beliefs.
I see that you seek the good in all things. You are a man who seek love and beuaty. But on a more sceptical note, Jesus wasn’t all about laughing and being cheerful. He told us to mourn with those who mourn, to weap with those who weap, to suffer with those who suffer. How can we do that if we ignore suffering?…So I have reflected a bit on your Armstrong quotation: “I take nothing for granted. I now have only good days or great days.” And I wonder, are we honest with ourselves (and about the purpose of life), if we ignore the fact that we are put on this earth to be tested? I have a real probelm with this kind of thinking. True art is not just about sunsets (even though they’re lovely). It’s about life in all it’s facets, and you captured that so well in the photo when your sons is about to go into the operating room. You can feel the tension and see the care and love of your wife. I was truly moved by that; even if I’m amazed at your understanding of colour in many of your photo with the blue sky and the yellow tree (complimentary colours). Just dashing!!!
You have real talent. Thanks for sharing it with the world.

Just want to say thanks that you manage to put my feelings into words. In one way I’m really sad because Pres. Hinckley passed away but I’m also very grateful for all the things he taught me through his life. I will miss the way he talked to us and especially his great sence of humour. I will always remember when I got the chance to see him in Copenhagen.
Thank you again and also thanks for a great site.

You asked who I would vote for if I was an american. I guess I would vote for a republican and I would vote for Mitt Romney because I think McCain is way too old to be the next president and I don’t know Huckabee very well. And as a member of the church I think it could be fun/good to have a LDS as president of the USA.
I was in SLC in 1988 and I thought it was fun to see all about the election, but of course it was better if I could vote.

Hi Louis!
Just came across your site and I truly enjoy reading it!
I’m sure you have already achieved your goal to be of
inspiration to other people, myself included.
I have been reflecting a bit on the title of your page “a good life” and the recent post “take control, be a captain”. The way I see it life is given to us as a wonderful gift and then there are so many choices to make
and sometimes so difficult to know what is the right decision. And yet the worst thing is not making any choices at all! Like you I have been blessed with 3 wonderful kids and I like to focus on the importance of not just spending time with them, but also being aware of what we actually teach them. And teaching them to be the captain of their own lives, to be a good person and to be a friend - it kind of says it all.
I enjoyed your family photos by the way, you have great kids (and your daughter looks a lot like you
Thanks also for drawing my attention to “Gabriel’s Oboe” this is truly a heavenly piece of music.
Take care Louis and keep up the good work!

Louis,
I am Marie’s best friend here in California and will be in Sweden next week to help with the store opening. I wanted to let you know that we are praying for Johannes and your family. Marie has been calling me with specific prayer requests and I am spreading the word to my family and friends because I believe there is strength in numbers. May God bless your family and keep you safe in this time of trial. I look forward to meeting you all in a week’s time - especially your beautiful son.

Hej Louis.

Hi Louis!
Thanks for a great website, it is just wonderfull to see how you and your family are doing. I am an “old” fan of yours :o) Married and with two children aged almost 4 years old, a boy, and a girl 8 months old.
I am happy to hear that your son is doing better, they are so brave those little ones. In bad times I think that it is mostly us, the parents, that worries.
Take care and lots of hugs and kisses to you and your family.
Keep up the good spirit.

Dear Louis,
I just love this site. Why? actually because we (my husband and I) have our own blogsites. So we also discovered that blogging can be very interesting, revealing and releaving,….
My husbands site is about politics, mine is about the candy we give in Belgium when a child is being Baptised. We call it “doopsuiker” (Baptismsugar). I have no idea if you know that in Sweden??? And we also have a site with everything about our wedding and our first born son.
We’re pretty busy too….
So..OF COURSE I LOVE YOUR BLOG!!! The lay out is great, you share your feelings, concerns…pictures of your nice family (allthough, I’d like to see more pictures of the host himself…:-)) Just give the camera to your wife…I bet she knows how it works too…hahaha.
In your site you found a nice way of sharing stuff with the rest of the world…about your faith, about the healthproblems of Johannes…But…you also receive support from your readers…And that is also a GREAT feeling, don’t you think???
Anyway, keep up the good work and God will bless you for that, I’m sure about it!
Best regards!
Belle

Dear Louis,
what can I say when all is sad and done? (I’ m referring to all the letters above.) Well, this much I can say, your e-mail today alerted me really, so did the comment on your blog. I´ve been so happy today just because of that. I do remember how much I enjoyed your first (?) performance, known to us Swedes, that is. It is unforgettable. So today I´ve been walking in spiritual golden shoes, so to say, thanks to you. You do have a wonderful gift. I cannot express my gratitude enough; all I can say is thank you.

Dear Louis!
My life has been a great journey. I had my shares of ups and downs. It has been mostly downs. However, I always had my faith in God. HE have been there for me all the way and it´s like it says in the poem “Footprints in the sand….When you saw only one pair of footprints it was when I carried you.” The might Lord has been there and answered me.
I have felt a bit lost the last few years and I didn´t know which church to go to. I missed the companionship, the music, the feeling of “Coming home”. However, when I talked to you today something happend to me. I can´t describe it and it was a bit scary at the same time.
I felt a warm feeling inside and it was like a wind going through my body. Suddenly I realized that I have finally come home and IT IS the mormons I should belong to. I felt such a happiness that I started to cry and praised God for everything he have done for me. Then I asked for forgiveness and blessings to keep the devil out of my life for good. I have everything I ever need right now because I finally found the true happiness which I have been searching for all my life.
I have to say: THANK YOU, LOUIS, FOR THE CONVERSATION WE HAD TODAY AND THANK YOU LORD FOR BRINGING ME HOME.
I have always psalm 23 in my heart.
With much love, gratitude and Gods blessings
Yours truly friend
Anna Omran
