Window of the Soul

Often, you can know a persons mind by just looking into his eyes. Cicero (106-43 BC) said: “The face is a picture of the mind as the eyes are its interpreter.”  The French say: “Les yeux sont le miroir de l’dme” (The eyes are the mirror of the soul). “The eyes are the window of the soul” is the English variant. The origin of these last words can be found in Matthew 6:22:

“The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single [to the Glory of God], thy whole body shall be full of light.”

Hence, focusing our eyes on the true Light will brings more light and understanding to our soul.

Just a thought.

Here’s a window I like to look into. It belongs to someone very dear.

    Nice piece of art there…

That’s the eye of Angelica I presume??? :-)
Is that the real color of her eyes??? wonderful!!!

And what you said about “eyes”. It’s so true.
For example : when someone is not telling the truth, that person can’t look you straight in the eyes. At least, I can’t. :-) Of course, I don’t lie often. ha ha ha

    Have a nice day everyone!!!
